The FORT-12R pistol is a reliable semi-automatic double-action trigger-type pistol designed for single-shot shooting with magazine feed. Automatic reloading is carried out using the energy of powder gases, and the chamber is closed by the action of a return spring and the mass of the bolt, which operates according to the free bolt scheme.
Thanks to its all-metal construction, the pistol is characterized by high strength, durability and stability when firing. Compared to modern models with polymer frames, the FORT-12R has a greater weight (0.83 kg), which reduces recoil and improves control when firing.
