The DPM mechanical recoil reduction system is a fully compatible replacement for the stock system of the CZ P-10F or P-10 SC pistol. It does not require any changes to the weapon's design.

The system operates thanks to a complex multi-spring rod (3 springs), which acts as a damper - creating a braking effect on the bolt before it stops, in the last 6–8 mm of stroke. This significantly reduces the shock load on the pistol frame.

In some cases, this system provides almost twice the resistance at the rearmost position of the bolt compared to a standard spring. This allows the bolt to contact the frame more gently, reducing recoil and protecting the gun's moving parts from premature wear.

With the shutter closed (Slide on the battery):

• Short spring: 2.72 kg / 6 lbs

• Medium spring: 3.17 kg / 7 lbs

• Long spring: 3.62 kg / 8 lbs

With the slide fully open (Slide full open position):

• Total stiffness: 9.97 kg / approximately 22–23 lbs
